I recently received a deck of cards from I See Cards. The deck is not a regular deck of cards - it is a deck of cards called Pyramath. Pyramath is a fun card game that can help you or your students learn mathematics. In this game you can practice addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. For our family, we played the game only practicing addition and subtraction because we are not multipliers and dividers yet. Pyramath is recommended for Kindergarten and up!
I hope you can get the general idea of how to play the game by looking at the above graphic . You start out by placing either five or seven cards at the top. You can play one player or two player versions of this game. The instructions are very easy to read and understand. Look at the very bottom card played on the pyramid - the number 8. The number 8 was played here because 4 multiplied by 2 is 8. Additional cards that could have been played include: 6 (4+2 = 6), 2 (4/2 = 2 or 4 - 2 = 2).

Wow! I think this is great to teach math facts to, kids. Wish I was able to review this one.

We had alot of fun with this! We only used addition and subtraction because my son is only in 2nd grade, but we had some very close games;)
