More Independence Day Fun

Our Independence Day celebrations started on Friday, July 2nd. We bought some fireworks and watermelon, and had some fun right out in our own yard!

The boy likes to get all the explosives in order before we start the festivities. He's set up his own little fireworks stand for three years now - it's starting to become a tradition!

On Saturday, July 3rd, the girls helped me put together some cupcakes to take to a BBQ. We used this recipe, and they were tasty!

We had fun cooking out with some friends before heading over to watch the fireworks display our little town does every 3rd of July!

Tonight (July 4th), we have a few more things to explode, and that will wrap up all our Independence Day celebrations. What did you and your family do to celebrate Independence Day?
