5-year-old and Copywork

My little L turned 5 on March 30th. She had a lot of thank you notes to write, so I decided to give copywork a try with her. She recently has been asking me how to spell different words, and I've been helping her with that. So, I simply wrote the words, "thank you" on a card and set it up in front of her so she could see it well and copy the words on her thank you cards! She did a GREAT job! Because she is the baby of our family, I sometimes don't think she's ready for things, when she really is. It makes me sad (but also thankful) to see all the big girl things she can do now!
