Handwriting Without Tears and Copywork

I have talked on here before how much I love Handwriting Without Tears! This year, we started using their lined notebook paper. It works wonderfully for our copywork pages. This is our second year doing copywork as part of our Language Arts program, and it really helps the children learn how to correctly form their sentences, and also helps with spelling. You can read more about copywork here. Last week we started using the children's AWANA verses as their copywork passages to review the scripture they've learned the past few weeks. We will eventually work up to doing one scripture copywork a week, and also copy a special passage from a poem or other work of literature.
