First Day of School!

I feel like we've been homeschooling for quite a while now, but it became "official" today because Tyler is a kindergartener!!!!

We enjoyed a picnic lunch today at our local resevoir. It's very pretty out there. The trees, the water, the breeze, the birds, and butterflies! I just wanted to do something special today to kick off our new school year. Heath showed off his manly rock skipping skills! Kaitlyn tried her best to make those rocks skip across the top of the water, but she didn't have any success...this time!

I am truly blessed. I love being a wife, and a stay-at-home, homeschooling mother! I love having the freedom to choose how to educate our children. I love that I can educate them with a Biblical, Christian worldview. I love how we can start each day around the breakfast table w/ prayer and a kid-friendly devotion! I love how God's Word is woven throughout all we do throughout our day.
