We only live about 2 hours from our nation's capital, so we thought it was very important to take the children for a visit before we move 13 hours away. It was a super hot day, but we made the most of the day and broke up our indoor and outdoor activities.
During our trip, we visited the Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam and WWII memorials, the national archives, Arlington Cemetery, and the Air and Space museum in Virginia. It was a fun day for our family and we got to spend some extra time with some friends of ours too.
