The girls chose to study butterflies for their summer project. I shared about our
summer projects during the April 25th
TOS Blog Cruise. This week, our three caterpillars arrived in the larvae stage. We have enjoyed watching them, and can't wait for them to start the pupal stage! We went to the library and checked out a lot of books on butterflies! We have also planted some shasta daisies in our yard that are suppose to be good for attracting butterflies. Although, the heat wave we've had here in PA this week has not been good for these lovely flowers. Hopefully they'll still be some blooms left when the butterflies finally emerge!
