K cooked dinner tonight for us. Her Daddy taught her how to make his delicious pancakes! She is still cooking once a week, and her little sis, L, is wanting to cook more and more too. So, I am going to have to be intentional and carve out some time to do some cooking with L (just the two of us).
Have you heard about a new site called Raising Homemakers? If you have little girls, I encourage you to visit the site and be prepared to be blessed and encouraged to be intentional in the training of your little girls to be joyful keepers of their homes!

What sweet girls! You are a great encourgement to me in the area of training my girls to cook. I need to do a better job of that.
Hi Stephanie! We started out real simple. Last year, my son was in scouts and while Dad and the boy were at scouts, the girls and I made either homemade bread or muffins. Now, my oldest daughter chooses one meal to prepare each week, and we look in our pantry to see what ingredients we have on hand and then she helps me add the needed items to the list. Then she cooks (of course she still needs a lot of assistance). When we sit down at the table she is so proud:)
That's great, girls are such blessings aren't they. I have
3 little ladies 4, 2.5, and 3
weeks:) I will check the site
out, thanks for posting!
