My friend Beth (well, I don't really know her in real life, but she's married to a pastor and she educates her children at home, so I feel like we're pretty tight even though we've never met in real life. I know, you probably like I'm weird or psycho, but I'm fairly normal). Anyway she told me about this website and how I could find this great stitching pattern to download (FOR FREE). So, I did. My 7yo daughter and I are working on the practice stitches together right now. I'm ready to move on to the "real" project, but I have to wait on her to catch up. I REALLY like hand quilting, so I am HOOKED on this embroidery stuff! It is so much fun!

Oh, I'm so jealous. I mean, uhhh, I can't wait until my daughter is a couple years older and I can do this too. The pattern is adorable.
What a precious picture! She looks like she's really concentrating! I think we may end up with all sorts of seasonal pillows once we get through it all!
I downloaded it too. Thanks to Beth. :) We are going to wait till Christmas break to start. But I can't wait! Looks so fun. And an invaluable skill.
